It’s no secret that I’m in love with our beautiful city of Melbourne and photographing weddings in the CBD makes my heart sing! So it made perfect sense to set up a beautiful studio space on Flinders Lane where I can meet with my gorgeous couples, have a coffee and chat as well as be constantly inspired by our beautiful city.

I love the food, the cafe culture, the architecture and the way light bounces around off buildings, the trams, cobblestone streets and laneways, hidden cafes, the textures, colours, shadows, busyness and the grittiness that all meld together to make Melbourne, well, Melbourne. There's an old proverb that says that the best way to see something new is to walk the exact same walk everyday. And that certainly holds true for myself.

It's the hyper awareness of my surroundings, in noticing the way the light changes and envelops the landscape both in the moment and more broadly as the seasons change, that fuels my love for this city and photographing within it.
